Chunghwa Telecom is going to release 500Mbps & 1000Mbps Internet Service
National Communications Commission(NCC) Approved Chunghwa Telecom 「Adding 500M/250M & 1G/600M FTTx Service Program」. This is a significant increase the Internet speed that regular customer can apply.
Faster Speed, cause higher fee too, 500Mbps/250Mbps is NTD2399, and 1000Mbps/600Mbps is $3599. I think not much people will want to pay this fee for Internet. Compare to Taipei Fiber (Taipei Fiber is price by bandwidth), If you use less than 72.89GB every month, the same speed in Taipei Fiber will be cheaper for you, also Taipei Fiber is 1000Mbps/1000Mbps, so the upload speed will be faster than Chunghwa Telecom.
