Here is a list of special hidden function for iOS Device, usually only the people work on iOS internal system knows those key!

Force Shutdown

Home+Power Button for 10 seconds.

Force close APP

Hold Power Button till the “Slide to Power Off” sign shown, then hold Home Button till App close.

Recovery Mode (For User to restore their iOS device.)

Plug-in to computer.

Hold Home+Power Button till iTunes Logo show up.

DFU Mode (For Developer to restore their developer device.)

Plug-in to computer.

Hold Home+Power Button for 10 seconds and release Power Button still hold on to Home Button for another 10 second.

iPhone Engineer Mode (For Engineer to test iPhone’s carrier related information)

Open Phone App and dial *3001#12345#*
