Linux forget Password

This tutorial is only for computer owner who forget their password. If you use it in hacking, we won’t responsible for any legal problem.

Hold ”Shift” during startup to enter boot menu

Select ”Ubuntu” but don’t press “Enter”

Press ”e” to enter edit mode

On the line that begin with “Linux” , change “ro” to “rw” and add ” init=/bin/bash” after it (there is a space after “rw”)

Press “Ctrl”+“x” to continue booting

Use keyboard to enter following command, only enter the content in “”

Change the red word to your info

“passed username”

password: “new password”

Confirm Password: “repeat new password“
